Keepin' It Classy At Graceland

This week there was an unveiling of a new limited edition Elvis and Priscilla doll set at Graceland. An event of this magnitude would only bring out the classiest of people, thus the beverage of the day...Sunny Delight in a champagne glass. I guess the caterers thought soda or "purple stuff" would've cheapened the momentous occasion.

By now pretty much everybody knows that imminent Hall of Famer Brett Farve has been traded to the New York Jets. His arrival in New York has sparked a media and marketing frenzy. As you can see in the picture above, this particular sports store took the half assed approach at using the big news as a marketing tool. I might as well put on a blonde wig and say I'm Paris Hilton...which reminds me, I have a movie premier to attend.

Truth In Advertising

Apple is well known for their great marketing and advertising efforts. Hell, as an iPhone and iMac owner, I've even succumb to their sweet siren song. Judging by the ad above I think it's time to reconsider the direction of the most recent ad campaign.

Does anyone ever kick and flail their arms and legs like that when listening to their ipod? Out of the thousands (yes thousands) of people I see on the subway listening to their ipods, the most physical movement I ever see is a covert nose pick, or an apathetic yawn while some pan handler saunters by.

If people REALLY reacted to their music on a crowded subway car like the girl in the ad above, Apple would have to change their posters to look like this...

Man Admits To Downloading Octopus Porn

A 48 year old man from the Australian provence of Tasmania was caught with more than 31,000 images and videos involving child and animal pornography.

Some of the videos included sexual acts being performed on dogs, ponies, snakes, and even an octopus!

Now, I'm not into bestiality at all...but i have to admit, I am a little curious as to what Octopus Porn is like.
