Truth In Advertising
Apple is well known for their great marketing and advertising efforts. Hell, as an iPhone and iMac owner, I've even succumb to their sweet siren song. Judging by the ad above I think it's time to reconsider the direction of the most recent ad campaign.
Does anyone ever kick and flail their arms and legs like that when listening to their ipod? Out of the thousands (yes thousands) of people I see on the subway listening to their ipods, the most physical movement I ever see is a covert nose pick, or an apathetic yawn while some pan handler saunters by.
If people REALLY reacted to their music on a crowded subway car like the girl in the ad above, Apple would have to change their posters to look like this...
